On December 15th, 1994, self-made millionaire and business man William McLaughlin was gunned down, shot six times in the upper torso in his own kitchen. With no forensic evidence tying anyone to the crime scene – no fingerprints, no DNA, no footprints, no murder weapons – detectives were faced with a difficult case to crack. Looking deeper into William’s personal life, they discovered he had been in a relationship with a woman named Nanette Johnston – a woman half his age. And when it was discovered she had an ex-NFL football player boyfriend on the side, they both quickly rose to the top of the suspect list in the murder of William McLaughlin.
