#16 The Chemistry of Morality (or the Morality of Chemistry)

There is absolutely no question that Fritz Haber was a genius. Whether he was a good person or not… Well, that’s up for debate.

In this episode of Historium, we explore the character of German chemist Fritz Haber, who is truly a conundrum of human morality. How do you measure a man who is responsible for both so much good and so much evil?

***Towards the end, I said the father of nuclear physics was Rutherford B. Hayes, who is actually the 19th president of the United States. I was actually referring to Ernest Rutherford. Close enough, right?
