As this hellish presidential campaign finally comes to a close, it’s easy to think that politics are getting uglier and uglier. But when we really look at our history, we see that politics have never not been ugly.
Case in point: The duel between Alexander Hamilton and Aaron Burr.
***I mistakenly pronounce Greenwich Village as it’s spelled, as opposed to it’s proper pronunciation as ‘grennitch village.’ My condolences to any listening New Yorkers.
