Nick & Andy watched the new documentary on HBO by Susan Lacy, aptly titled SPIELBERG, chronicling the life and career of one of our favorite directors, Steven Spielberg.
It’s hard to find someone that has influenced an industry the way that Spielberg has influenced Hollywood. Steve Jobs? Michael Jordan? Possibly. From sneaking onto the Universal lot, to his times with the “Brat Pack,” to meeting Kate Capshaw on the set of Temple of Doom, to re-discovering his Orthodox heritage, we take a long journey with Steven, and discover what a true workaholic and loving father and mentor to the up-and-comer’s in the industry that he truly is.
Nick & Andy weigh-in on their favorite Spielberg movies and moments, and how growing up with him in our lives made the journey relatable and personal, and how his films really touched our lives and taught us things we never would have known about otherwise.
Whether you’re a fan of his work or not, you absolutely must respect the body of work, as there is no question that Steven Spielberg has been the most influential director of the modern era.
