#19 PWG BoLA 2017 & This Week in WWE

PWG Battle of Los Angeles 2017 was an amazing event, and we enjoyed getting to see it live and in-person!  Big thanks to the champ, King Ricochet, for the intro bumper you hear at the open of the show!

Lucha Underground is on the verge of its 100th episode, we’re on the Road to Destruction in NJPW, and the Mae Young Classic has its finalists!  Sexy Star is stripped of the title, Jeff Jarrett is officially OUT at GFW/Impact, and on October 22nd, Kazuchika Okada will become the longest-reigning IWGP champion of all-time!

1 Hiromu … 2 Hiromu … 3 Hiromu … 4 Hiromu …

Monday Night RAW was a surprisingly entertaining show, even though nothing really happened within the bigger feuds.  We got Cena vs Reigns 2.0 on the mic, Miz defends the Intercontinental Title against Jeff Hardy, and Bray Wyatt showed up on the tron again.  Emma is finally getting some love, Enzo appears to be resuscitating the Cruiserweight Division, and Braun Strowman stepped into a steel cage with the World’s Largest Athlete!

SmackDown Live was very story-heavy this week, as we saw the feud between Kevin Owens and Shane McMahon go even further!  Ellsworth almost screws up big-time, we hear Aiden English’s music again for the 2nd week in a row, and WTAF is going on with Dolph Ziggler?!  Usos stipulate a Street Fight against The New Day, the US title appears to be forming into a triple threat, and Shinsuke Nakamura faces Randy Orton in a #1 Contender match!

Cien Almas and Cezar Bononi faced off to open NXT, Velveteen Dream finally cuts a promo, and Lars Sullivan is an absolute monster.  Sonya Deville is looking to take over the women’s division, Burch/Lorcan appear to be tagging up, Ruby Riot wants a handicap match, and Hideo Itami fights Kassius Ohno in a “No-DQ” match.

After setting an unprecedented 523-day undefeated title reign streak, Asuka officially relinquishes the title to thunderous applause, an emptied locker room, and TripleH himself bringing her a bouquet of roses, raising her arm one final time. William Regal announces that negotiations are under way with BOTH Raw and SmackDown general managers.

Thank you, Asuka *clap, clap, clapclapclap*
